Meet Paul and Nicole, or “Pickle”
In the autumn of 2011, I met the love of my life in our first year of high school marching band. She was in colorguard, and I was in drumline. It was love at first sight — a secret we were finally able to reveal to each other six years later.
We reconnected in the autumn of 2017, and soon after we began a beautiful, magical, and lovely partnership together.
She introduced me to the idea of manifestation — that we can attract what we choose with our energy, intention, visualization, and gratitude. I then begin to believe my lifelong dream of playing music on stage in front of a crowd is actually possible for me.
This picture is from our road trip in the spring of 2022, when we moved from our first apartment together in Maryland to live with Nicole’s family in Texas. We expected to live here for a “growing season,” which describes our time here well. Living in a chaotic, challenging, heavy, and isolated environment has gifted me with new levels of peace, resilience, strength, and connection to my spirit.
For over a year Nicole worked with dozens of kids ages 3-6 at a Montessori school. She is so wonderfully gifted in helping children feel loved, respected, and appreciated while also inspiring them to listen, learn, and follow her lead. I believe she is here to help the next generation of humanity grow new levels of empathy, awareness, emotional intelligence, peace, love, and holistic well-being.
Nicole also has a strong love for all that has to do with food. Whether it be organic gardening, cooking, foraging, or fishing, she is interested and ready to grow her skills in bringing fresh, wholesome, and delicious nutrition into our world.
Together, We’re Always Home
Since 2020 our goal has been to find our way into a camper and feel free to travel where we are called to. Thankfully, we were able to purchase our Arctic Fox truck camper and in the Spring of 2024 we began our new channel, Always Home.
We look forward to sharing our journey with you! We are now raising the funds to buy our truck and manifest our life of travel while always feeling at home together.
We began with a dream of a large plot of land to protect and promote our Earth’s biodiversity, live with our children in a self-sufficient earthship, provide a store for our community, grow organic foods for people to pick, nurture a wide variety of animals, build play areas for beings of any age, and create a venue to share music and entertainment for all to enjoy.
This is the vision I hold in my heart and the direction I trust I am moving in. I now ask you: if anything is possible, what do you envision for your life?
